We are seeking a talented Insurance Defense Litigation Associate (2–7 years of experience) to join our downtown Chicago office.

In this role, you will take ownership of your cases while building litigation expertise across a wide range of matters.

• Manage cases independently from inception through resolution
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Attend court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs
• Handle discovery and case strategy development
• Communicate effectively with clients through regular reporting
• Perform legal research and analysis
• Stay organized and meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities

• 2–7 years of insurance defense litigation experience
• JD from an accredited law school

• Experience in professional negligence, medical malpractice, or construction litigation
• Admission in Michigan, Indiana, or Wisconsin
