Operations Specialist
Location:
Chicago, IL (O‘Hare area; remote initially, then on-site)
Job Type: Full-time, W2
Salary Range: 55,000–55,000–75,000 per year
Handle end-to-end cross-border logistics operations: booking, documentation, shipment tracking, exception resolution, data entry, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Process air/ocean bookings, customs docs, and track shipments
- Resolve exceptions (delays, damages, customs issues)
- Coordinate with airlines, overseas agents, last-mile carriers
- Maintain accurate data in WMS
- Support cost reconciliation and billing
- Generate operational reports (transit time, carrier performance)
- 1+ year international freight forwarding or cross-border logistics experience
- Familiar with WMS/TMS;
Lingxing experience a plus - Detail-oriented and accountable
- Bilingual in English and Chinese
- Basic knowledge of U.S. customs clearance preferred
- Willing to work on-site near O‘Hare after initial period
- Flexible work from home options available
