This is an exciting time to join the team as we step up operations in new countries and commence work on new and challenging projects. As a result of this growth, we are looking to recruit a Critical Systems Coordinator in Amsterdam, NL.
The Critical Systems Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities for critical systems, coordinating with vendors and clients, and ensuring that maintenance records and asset information remain accurate and up to date. This position establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, technicians, supervisors, managers, and contracted vendors.Requirements and Abilities:
  • Schedule and track maintenance (preventive & corrective) for critical systems via CMMS, coordinating with contracted vendors.
  • Manage vendor and client coordination for maintenance activities, ensuring tasks are executed per schedule.
  • Update and maintain asset records in the CMMS and Asset Manager systems to keep inventory and maintenance data accurate.
  • Create and follow MOPs (Method of Procedure) for maintenance tasks, and adhere to all standard processes and policies.
  • Document outcomes and provide reports or documentation to management as needed.
Technical

Skills:
  • Basic proficiency with CMMS software (e.g. HxGN EAM) for scheduling and tracking work orders.
  • Data entry and management of maintenance data; able to handle routine datasets in the CMMS.
  • IT literacy:
    Competent with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) for updating schedules and logs.
  • Fundamental knowledge of asset and maintenance management – understands preventive maintenance routines, work orders, and basic equipment hierarchies.
Analytical & Organizational

Skills:
  • Attention to detail:
    Ensures accuracy of maintenance data and adherence to procedures.
  • Basic problem-solving:
    Can identify straightforward issues in maintenance workflow and elevate or address with guidance.
  • Planning & scheduling:
    Capable of following and coordinating daily/weekly maintenance schedules, adjusting as directed to avoid conflicts.
Communication

Skills:
  • Clear communication with vendors, technicians, and internal teams to coordinate maintenance timing and requirements.
  • Effective documentation:
    Maintains logs and writes basic reports or updates for management on maintenance activities.
  • Customer service orientation:
    Works with internal/external clients professionally during scheduling and service delivery.
Project & Change Management

Skills:
  • Adaptability to change:
    Able to adjust to new or updated procedures and tools in the maintenance process.
  • Basic project assistance:
    Participates in small-scale projects or pilots (e.g. a new CMMS feature rollout) under guidance, performing assigned tasks reliably.
  • Fundamental ability to support project and change initiatives as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in facilities, maintenance, or data center operations.
  • Entry-level exposure to critical systems or data center environment preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) for reporting and record-keeping.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for common issues (e.g. identifying data entry errors or simple system alarms).
  • Familiarity with data center infrastructure concepts is a plus (e.g. basic power/cooling equipment understanding).
Work is performed in an office setting and/or remote office.

The opportunity is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and could include business travel as needed to meet business demands but will likely be nominal. Role may occasionally require being on-call for after-hours to support the 24/7 operations team.
