The Bank Facilities Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, safety, compliance, and appearance of all Bank facilities and properties. This working manager role performs and coordinates routine facility maintenance, custodial, and operational activities while overseeing vendors, service contracts, budgets, and facility assets. The position maintains a regular presence at Bank locations, responds to facility-related needs and emergencies, and supervises facilities, maintenance, and custodial personnel as assigned.
The Bank Facilities Manager ensures all facilities remain safe, functional, well maintained, and supportive of employees, customers, and Bank operations.
- Facilities Management 40%
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of all Bank facilities, including branches, administrative offices, and other locations.
- Perform routine facility maintenance, inspections, and operational tasks as needed to ensure Bank facilities remain safe, functional, clean, and presentable.
- Maintain a regular presence at Bank locations and assist with facility maintenance and operational activities as needed, including coverage during staffing shortages or vendor absences.
- Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping activities at assigned Bank locations and ensure facilities are clean, safe, and presentable.
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs and coordinate repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and other building systems.
- Maintain facility records, equipment inventories, warranties, maintenance schedules, and related documentation.
- Buildings and Grounds Maintenance 25%
- Coordinate and monitor custodial services provided by both internal staff and third-party vendors.
- Source, negotiate, and manage facility-related service contracts and vendor relationships.
- Conduct periodic inspections of facility appearance, cleanliness, grounds, signage, parking lots, and building conditions.
- Coordinate maintenance, repair, and improvement projects and recommend priorities to enhance safety, efficiency, and appearance.
- Vendor, Asset, and Contract Management 15%
- Maintain records of contracts, warranties, service agreements, and vendor documentation.
- Approve facility-related invoices and vendor payments.
- Maintain facility asset inventories and coordinate the repair, replacement, and lifecycle management of facility equipment.
- Obtain and evaluate bids and proposals for maintenance projects, facility services, and capital improvements.
- Safety, Compliance, and Emergency Preparedness 10%
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, facility-related regulations, and applicable Bank policies.
- Conduct routine facility inspections and identify corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain documentation required for regulatory examinations, audits, and internal reviews.
- Develop, maintain, and periodically test facility-related emergency response procedures.
- Coordinate and document response activities related to facility emergencies and/or accidents, weather events, or other operational disruptions.
- Leadership, Strategic Planning, and Other 10%
- Develop and manage facility operating and capital budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiencies and prepare related reports.
- Supervise facilities, maintenance, and custodial personnel as assigned and coordinate work assignments and priorities.
- Participate in strategic planning and facility improvement initiatives that support Bank operations.
