Job Summary
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to support a leading corporation in energy solutions. This position is a remote position
, with willingness to be at project site as things arrive, in Chicago, Illinois. This is a direct–hire opportunity to join our Construction Operations team in support of the design, construction, and successful implementation of Commercial-Industrial, renewable, and efficiency projects.
The Sr. Project manager will own 1 large project managing HVAC & Mechanical services and small projects supporting universities and stadiums in Chicago.
Responsibilities of Senior Project Manager- Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes.
- Lead project implementation of site safety and health plans, operations and maintenance manuals, and training activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to assure competitive cost, best schedule and delivery for all project-related equipment, supply installations, and construction services.
- Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality control and project delivery on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Provide ongoing project status updates with all parties throughout design and construction.
- 7+ years of electrical, mechanical, central plant, engineering, or industrial power construction senior‑level project management experience that focuses on facility infrastructure construction, renovations, and energy services.
- Extensive background in renewable energy construction, demonstrating progressive responsibility and leadership in directing construction teams and managing resources across complex, large‑scale, and multi‑location projects.
- Documented success in applying OSHA safety requirements and overseeing mechanical and electrical systems, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards, project management guidelines, industry regulations, and technical codes.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or related fields: or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Salary Range
: $150,000 - $170,000 - Full Benefits Package
