The Global Benefits Lead will shape and lead a world‑class, inclusive global benefits strategy for approximately 14,000 employees across the United States, Canada, India, Latin America, Europe and East Asia. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, employee experience and global scale – designing and administering benefits and leave programs that are competitive in local markets while aligned to a cohesive global vision.
They will partner closely with our benefits broker, carriers, vendors, Finance, Legal and regional leaders to ensure ZS benefits are market competitive, support employee well‑being, attraction and retention and enable business strategy.
- Lead and continuously improve global benefits programs in alignment with our values, established strategy and employee needs;
- Translate global direction into regional implementation plans, supporting countries with program changes and business cases;
- Oversee global benefits administration, including enrollments, eligibility, leave and disability programs, vendor coordination and escalations;
- Establish and maintain benefits governance, policies, documentation and controls, enabling local compliance and flexibility;
- Lead open enrollment planning and execution across markets, including renewals, communications and implementation;
- Manage broker, carrier and vendor relationships, partnering with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, cost control and ROI;
- Use program data, market insights and employee feedback to drive continuous improvement, consistency and quality across all regions.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
- 10+ years of progressive benefits experience with global or multi‑country scope;
- Deep expertise in benefits programs across the Americas, EMEA and APAC;
- Demonstrated success scaling or transforming global benefits programs;
- Experience in professional services, consulting or similarly complex global organizations;
- Strong vendor management, financial and project leadership skills;
- Highly credible, empathetic professional with advanced Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS proficiency;
- Experience leading dispersed teams;
- Fluency in English;
- Collaborative spirit and problem‑solving approach.
