IT Project Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Professional Services team in Chicago to support the growth we're experiencing.
Our Professional Services project teams implement Sievo's solutions for our customers – building integrations to customer and third‑party data sources, enriching data, and delivering world‑class procurement analytics. This means working with major global customers and their transactional data, as well as third‑party providers of market index, risk, sustainability, diversity, and CO2 emissions data.
In this role, you will both manage a portfolio of implementation projects and lead a team of solution consultants and data engineers. You’ll set the direction, keep customers and internal stakeholders aligned on the plan, and support your team’s day‑to‑day growth and performance.
Key Responsibilities Managing Projects- Shape and set up implementation projects (context, objectives, scope & approach), ensuring feasibility, estimating effort, and involving all relevant stakeholders (customers, Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer teams)
- Own end‑to‑end project management: schedule, scope, budget, financials, quality, risk, issues, and change requests
- Track and communicate project progress and maintain project documentation
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers, third parties, vendors, and partners
- Coordinate with Professional Services team leads in Chicago, Bucharest, and Helsinki to ensure proper resourcing
- Report and escalate resourcing or project issues as needed
- Act as the first point of contact for your team members, including approving hours and time off and supporting long‑term leave needs
- Manage, train, and coach team members day‑to‑day; provide both project‑based and informal feedback
- Estimate and manage team workload, and organize team events
- Support target‑setting, development discussions, and career development conversations for your team
- Support other project managers and colleagues across Sievo
- Actively identify opportunities to improve how Sievo works; lead and participate in internal development initiatives
- Encourage questioning the status quo and speaking up – we believe development comes from constructive challenge
- Solid project management experience
- People leadership and management experience
- Technical understanding and/or hands‑on experience with software implementation (e.g., ERPs, SQL, Qlik Sense)
- Strong client‑facing and internal communication skills, written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure while balancing time off
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Project management experience in the SaaS industry
- Experience leading multicultural teams
- Familiarity with procurement as a business function
- Understanding of finance and project financials

Work Style:

The salary range for this position is $111,000 to $129,000 based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
