Role Overview

Immediate opening for a strategic, high-velocity Account Director in our Atlanta office. We are seeking a modern storyteller who thrives on the generalist mentality—someone who is just as comfortable leading a high‑growth tech account as they are a consumer launch, a large‑scale event, or a social good campaign. You have been in the industry for at least 8 years and are looking for a challenge that rewards your entrepreneurial spirit and your ability to be a jack‑of‑all‑trades.

Responsibilities
  • Lead account teams and manage projects from start to finish across a diverse roster of 4–6 clients. Architect 360‑degree communications strategies that are platform‑agnostic, ensuring brand stories resonate across traditional media, social platforms, and cultural touchpoints.
  • Act as the bridge between earned media, social strategy, and talent integration. Navigate digital strategy and creator ecosystems to create surround‑sound moments for your clients.
  • Build impactful, trusting relationships with clients ranging from corporate startups and media companies to nonprofits and entertainment brands, providing thoughtful counsel through stressful situations with confidence and professional poise.
  • Leverage an extensive, multi‑vertical media network to secure impactful placements and out‑of‑the‑box media moments. Pitch alongside your team and lead by example.
  • Plan and execute media‑specific events, from high‑profile press conferences to influencer activations. Own the strategy and the ground game, ensuring everything from credentialing to on‑site media wrangling is handled with precision.
  • Lead new business meetings and craft persuasive, sophisticated proposals. Constantly bring new opportunities, key introductions, and innovative ideas to both clients and the agency.
  • Mentor and train junior staff, building a high‑performing team and fostering a “we, not me” culture.
  • Lead by example in every interaction—prioritizing transparency, professional poise, and discretion with team, clients, and media.
Qualifications
  • At least 8 years of experience in PR and communications with a proven track record of securing impactful press and developing strategic media plans across multiple industries.
  • Managed a team with direct oversight for at least 2 years, motivating staff and ensuring goals are met while providing mentorship that turns junior talent into A‑level performers.
  • Deep understanding of integrated communications, including social media, creative, and brand integration; an outside‑the‑box thinker who enjoys brainstorming and rethinking traditional concepts.
  • Strong writing skills—persuasive, concise, creative, and able to translate a complex brand mission into a compelling narrative.
  • Entrepreneurial and agile, with an innate curiosity and a drive to improve processes and campaigns.
  • Highly organized and accountable, excelling at managing multiple projects simultaneously with shifting priorities and consistently over‑delivering for clients.
Benefits

In addition to medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with matching, annual merit‑based bonuses, PTO, fertility, FSA for medical, childcare, and commuter expenses. Eligible employees may access flexible work schedules, Work from Anywhere programs, Summer Fridays, Wellness Days, and a 4‑week sabbatical or trip to celebrate select anniversaries.

We are an equal‑opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, identity and expression, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

Additional Perks and Development

From day one, employees are carefully matched with a mentor to guide them on their path to success. Training and mentoring are a big deal here, and we promote from within.
