Senior Manager – Consumer Insights KCNA – Towels

About

the Role

You will be the driving force behind applying consumer insights to create breakthrough products and experiences that transform consumers’ lives. As an exceptional communicator, you will build relationships across all levels, collaborate with brand strategists, engineers, and designers, and mentor others within the Insights & Analytics community.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify relevant business issues, research objectives, and hypotheses.
  • Develop learning plans to evaluate hypotheses, utilize appropriate methodologies, and generate recommendations that define business opportunities.
  • Synthesize, interpret, and apply information and data to establish facts and develop insights for category, consumer, and innovation analyses.
  • Manage engagement of marketing research and analytics projects, including external suppliers, ensuring accurate, timely, and cost‑efficient execution.
  • Uncover insights in an agile, dynamic environment to drive iterative innovation.
  • Apply behavioral understanding to brand building.
  • Serve as the functional expert in consumer research methodologies and best practices.
  • Demonstrate intense curiosity to understand the business, consumers, and market, applying consumer methodologies to strengthen insights.
Travel

Up to 10% travel may be required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in consumer insights; advanced degree preferred.
  • Expertise in executing behavioral science experiments and leading, designing, executing, and reporting primary market research.
  • Deep understanding of integrating consumer insights fundamentals—including primary & secondary research, syndicated research, positioning & communication development, and strategic business analysis—into business, innovation, and marketing strategies.
  • Experience with segmentation, need states, concept and product development/validation, test and learn approaches, design/packaging testing, creative optimization, and more.
  • Expertise in Design Thinking and agile tools.
  • Exceptional track record of translating insights into strategy and innovation priorities for a brand.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of business teams and to coach others, building organizational talent in market research and strategic thought.
  • Proven ability to integrate data from multiple sources to provide clarity and direction to a multi‑functional team.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to shape strategic direction.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
Compensation

Salary Range: 140,320 – 173,360 USD (U.S. locations only). In addition to base pay, the role offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including a 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan.

Work Location and Conditions

Primary

Location:

Chicago Commercial Center. This role is available for local candidates who are already authorized to work in the U.S. and will not receive relocation support.
