Compensation range: $92,300 – $153,900 base salary, plus incentive programs. Travel up to 25% of the time.

Job Summary

The Events & Campaign Marketing Manager leads the strategy, planning, execution, and measurement of Cox Automotive's industry events and trade shows to drive sponsorship, client engagement, lead generation, brand visibility, and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute event strategies aligned with business priorities and growth initiatives.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of industry events and trade shows.
  • Negotiate sponsorship agreements and manage relationships with event organizers, vendors, and external partners.
  • Oversee all event logistics, production, registrations, and deliverables for a seamless attendee experience.
  • Manage event budgets, contracts, invoices, and financial reporting.
  • Drive project timelines, deliverables, and execution plans to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Implement continuous improvement and operational best practices.
  • Develop and deliver post‑event reporting including ROI measurement and actionable recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, product) and external partners (industry associations, vendors).
  • Influence cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
  • Adapt processes and execution strategies to evolving business needs.

Eligibility & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years of progressive experience in marketing, event management, trade shows, or sponsor ships. Alternate combinations (e.g., master’s with 4 years, PhD with 1 year, or 10 years in related field) are acceptable.
  • Experience managing trade show events and sponsor ships.
  • Proven ability to operate in fast‑paced, collaborative environments while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong relationship‑building, collaboration, and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Business acumen and capacity to optimize processes for operational efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with audience insight translation.
  • Experience navigating change and delivering results in dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and execution skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills across cross‑functional teams.
  • Sound judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities on complex initiatives.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight and weekend travel.
  • Preferred:
    Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field;
    Automotive industry experience.
