Job DescriptionThe Associate Director, Media Account Manager is ahybrid project manager and client services contributor, supporting the day-to-day operations of a complex media account. This role ensures flawless execution of media campaigns by coordinating across internal teams including:
Client Services, Media, Search, Social, Programmatic, Creative, Ad Operations, and Data & Analytics, and managing operational processes such as billing, timelines, and deliverables.
Success in this role requires a blend of critical thinking, operational excellence, and client-facing finesse.
You’llsupport the building of connective tissue between the client and cross-functional teams to drive collaboration, streamline delivery, and ensure campaigns meet business objectives.
- Support the media campaign operations and project delivery.
- Help to drive the entire process of mediaplanimplementation from initiation to completion and analysis; ensuring achievements, deliverables, and budgets are met.
- Facilitate communication across internal and external teams across media channels tomaintainalignment on timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Support billing, budgeting, and tracking processes to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Partner with strategy and media teams to interpret campaign performance and translate insights into actionable next steps.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement scalable solutions that enhance operational workflow.
- Maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and proactively addressing issues or opportunities.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in digital media, integrated marketing, project management, and/or account management.
- Strong understanding of media planning, buying, and reporting fundamentals.
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills are critical.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, , or similar).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving client and business needs.
- Demonstrated critical thinking ability.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Self-starter who is comfortable with being flexible in an ever-changing environment.
