Position Overview
The Marketing Manager owns organic marketing strategy for the TITLE Boxing Club system — building the monthly playbook that drives social content, organic lead generation, email marketing, and membership engagement across our owned and operated clubs. This role blends strategic planning with hands‑on content creation, partner management, and monthly presentations to club owners and managers. You'll need a sharp eye for detail, strong writing and editing instincts, and the confidence to present ideas and hold your own in a room full of questions.
AboutTITLE Boxing Club
TITLE Boxing Club is a boutique boxing fitness brand built to help members find their inner fighter — mentally and physically. With 90 clubs across the country, you'd be working with the TITLE Boxing Club corporate team — also TITLE's biggest franchisee, owning and operating 11 clubs ourselves. We also own Box Union, our boutique boxing/sculpt concept in Los Angeles, with three locations.
Our company headquarters are in Los Angeles and Chicago. This role is hybrid — split between working from home and time in the clubs, depending on your location. We are looking for someone who lives within driving range of our clubs in Chicago or Boston, but we're also open to candidates near Plano, Texas;
Chula Vista, California; or Edina, Minnesota.
- Build and maintain the monthly organic marketing playbook — social strategy, organic lead strategy, email strategy, and membership engagement assets — for the full club system.
- Refresh the playbook each year with new ideas and updated seasonal challenges and promotions, rather than recycling the prior year's plan as-is.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our social media and content partner.
- Write and deliver clear creative briefs for promotions, challenges, and seasonal campaigns.
- Review and approve social content before it goes live, ensuring it's on-brand and on-strategy.
- Present the monthly organic marketing strategy to club owners and managers system-wide on a recurring call.
- Come prepared with organized notes, a clear narrative, and the ability to field questions confidently in real time.
- Meet with franchisees to answer questions about marketing and the playbook.
- Serve as the first point of contact for franchisees reaching out with marketing-related questions.
- Write and build email campaigns and marketing assets (flyers, in-club collateral, etc.) for owned and operated clubs.
- Use AI tools to speed up drafting and iteration — prompting effectively to generate new assets or revise existing ones.
- Own copy quality end-to-end: tone, clarity, and brand consistency.
- Support owned and operated clubs with local lead generation: community outreach, event setup, and local partnership development.
- Support photoshoots, our bi-yearly company convention, and in-person events as needed.
- 3-5+ years of marketing experience, and/or experience working in a fitness club or within a franchise system — either on the franchisor or franchisee side, in or outside the fitness industry.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Comfortable and confident presenting to groups and fielding live questions.
- Experience managing an external agency or freelance content partner is a plus.
- Familiarity with Canva and comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for content creation is a plus, not required.
- Strong organizational skills — able to juggle multiple campaigns, partners, and deadlines at once.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person events, photoshoots, and the company convention.
