Position Highlights- Position: RN House Operations Administrator for the Capacity Management Center
- Location:
Skokie, IL - Part Time: 24 hours per week
- Hours:
Monday‑Friday 1100‑2330 and 1900‑0730, rotating weekends every other and holidays - Required Travel: N/A
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Clinical Nurse Consultant, providing expert clinical guidance and leadership to improve patient care outcomes, promote staff development, and ensure regulatory compliance. The Capacity Management Center Home Office Administrator is responsible for bed placement and capacity management across four North Shore Hospitals.
What You Will Do- Serve as a clinical expert in a specific nursing practice area, guiding and supporting nursing staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to evaluate and enhance patient care protocols.
- Conduct educational sessions, workshops, and in‑service training for nursing staff.
- Mentor and coach nurses to foster professional growth and excellence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data analysis, and development of evidence‑based care protocols.
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to identify improvements and implement best practices.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Provide guidance on compliance issues and assist in regulatory audits and inspections.
- Advocate for high quality care for patients and families.
- Address patient and family concerns and help resolve care‑related issues.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advances in nursing practice.
- Assist implementation of evidence‑based practices to improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of education sessions, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance efforts.
- Generate reports and data analysis to track progress and outcomes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required) or Master’s Degree (preferred)
- 5+ years of clinical nursing experience, with expertise in medical/surgical nursing
- Critical care experience strongly preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) current RN license (required)
- BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification required
