The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that products, services, and processes meet defined quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role monitors quality performance, coordinates audits and inspections, and supports continuous improvement initiatives in a fully remote environment. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective cross‑functional collaboration.
This position is exclusively open to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will be rejected.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and execute quality control processes to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Conduct inspections, audits, and quality checks on products, processes, and services
- Document and report quality metrics, deviations, and non‑conformance issues
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Maintain and update quality documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and records
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections
- Assist in the development and delivery of quality training programs
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
- Track and analyze quality trends to support management decision‑making
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or compliance roles
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory standards, and inspection protocols
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, quality management software, and data analysis tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
- Experience in regulated industries (pharmaceuticals, healthcare, manufacturing, or food & beverage)
- Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
- Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, FDA regulations, or Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Annual Salary Range: $65,000 – $90,000 USD, based on experience, skills, and geographic location
