What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, maintaining high-level executive relationships
  • Sell the organization's products and services while rapidly growing and retaining named accounts
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities, addressing competitive threats proactively
  • Prepare and present formal proposals to all levels of the organization, leading negotiations and closing sales
  • Develop and maintain detailed account profiles and manage account strategy in collaboration with internal teams
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • 8+ years of direct work experience in a relevant environment
  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on solution selling
  • Experience in a complex matrix sales environment
  • Ability to work from a home office located within the territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably those of the employer
  • Experience with internet-related software or systems
  • Advanced client interfacing and customer-focused approach
  • Proven ability to effectively lead teams and prioritize workload
