What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by educating potential customers and supporting the sales and application process
  • Follow up on leads and referrals resulting from calls, events, webinars, and marketing activities
  • Prepare quotes and applications accurately and in a timely manner while communicating contract terms
  • Track customers and applications throughout the application process to ensure client satisfaction
  • Conduct periodic travel to attend industry conferences and trade shows for networking and promotion
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of successful experience in tele‑sales or other sales roles, particularly in professional medical liability insurance
  • Must hold a property and casualty insurance license in accordance with state laws
  • Strong ability to persuade potential customers and close sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sales Force software

  • Experience with other lines of insurance, such as life, disability, or long‑term care insurance
  • Proven sales track record of achieving quotas and goals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for developing customer relationships
