Regional Account Manager – ACE – Remote – Chicago, Illinois, United States

We are looking for a proactive, results‑oriented Regional Account Manager to lead our Ace Hardware division in the Midwest‑North Region (North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Northern Illinois). The role is remote, based in Chicago, IL, with up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, lead, and set the strategic vision for all Ace Hardware locations in the Midwest‑North Region to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Drive region’s sales growth, profitability, market share acceleration, and conversion metrics.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans using marketing programs, field resources, product training, event marketing, and outside sales activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with top Ace accounts and key personnel; collaborate with local Account Managers on retail and marketing functions.
  • Maximize digital acceleration via Salesforce, Showpad, and Power BI to improve efficiencies and transformation.
  • Manage budgets (T&E, Targeted Funds, Demo Tool, etc.) to support profitability in the Farm and Hardware segment.
  • Communicate opportunities, issues, and trends to the regional field sales team.
Qualifications
  • 4‑year college degree required.
  • Goal‑oriented, highly driven to achieve quarterly and annual sales results.
  • Proven success in promotions and events through creativity and problem‑solving.
  • Strong product and market knowledge to drive sales and share gain.
  • Experience developing best‑in‑class merchandising at branch level.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and SBD Tools and Outdoor team members.
  • Proficiency with IT business systems (Power BI, , Tool Commerce) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including out‑of‑state, and ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
Compensation & Benefits

Target cash compensation range: $84,000.00 – $ (base salary plus variable cash compensation). The position may qualify for a sales incentive plan or commission and is eligible for annual merit increases.

Additional Information
