Responsibilities:

• Serve as the point-of-contact for the architect's education, specification, client satisfaction and technical support needs.
• Responsible for architectural development, project tracking and ultimately gaining approval for our internal team of writers to prepare hardware specification documents.
• Promote adoption of the Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals for value-added professional services.
• Work alongside a committed team of professional consultants who are focused on providing specification support and services to many of the top architectural firms in the country.

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design.
• College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar). OR Build construction management, project engineer, field engineer, or trade sales will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.
• Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and are excited about selling a full range of door opening solutions.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and known for follow-up habits.
• Strong communicator, active listener, and negotiator.
• Work independently but believe in teamwork.
• Ability to read, understand specifications/facility standards, and have industry-related technical and sales aptitude.
• Ability to travel within an assigned territory and meet the requirements of customers.
• Ability to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or while traveling.
