ADay in the Life
The Medical Surgical Operating Unit delivers technologies and services that support surgeons, clinical teams, and healthcare systems across a broad range of surgical specialties. Through exposure to Core Surgical, Gynecology, and Hernia portfolios, this role provides foundational sales and clinical experience while supporting customer adoption of surgical solutions that improve procedural efficiency and patient outcomes.
This is a field-based remote position supporting the Chicago, Illinois territory. The individual hired must reside within the assigned territory and travel to customer accounts throughout the region. Travel of up to 75% is required, and a valid driver's license is necessary to perform the responsibilities of the role. The position includes participation in an 18-month rotational training program with exposure to sales leadership, clinical education, customer engagement, and business initiatives.
The Field STEP Sales Representative participates in an 18-month rotational development program designed to build clinical, technical, and commercial expertise within the Medical Surgical business. This role provides hands‑on experience supporting customer accounts, learning product applications, participating in clinical and sales training, and partnering with cross‑functional teams to support business objectives throughout the assigned territory.
