Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) / SDAFull-Time 30+ hrs Blue Island, IL, US 1 Attachments
Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)/ Self-Directed Assistant (SDA) advocate on behalf of individuals receiving services in the Home-based program; fulfill QIDP/SDA responsibilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities at work and home served in Blue Cap’s Home-based Department. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Minimum Requirements- BA/BS in social services or related field, plus one-year experience working with people with intellectual disabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in the use of computers and software applications
- Valid drivers license and good driving record
- Ability to maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
- Ability to complete Department of Human Services QIDP training and background check requirements
37.5 hours per week, generally 8:00am – 4:00pm;
Monday-Friday; occasional evenings or weekends
