We are seeking top tier talent to join our pioneering team and propel us towards our destination. You will be joining a team of innovative product, tech, and design leaders that tirelessly seek to question the status quo. As a Capital One Senior Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of building this business and bring these tools to market.

• Lead a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems to develop, launch, and manage a B2B enterprise website.
• Perform web development on Front End Applications leveraging a test-driven development pattern.
• Own the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems to create a single, cohesive digital customer experience in collaboration with partner product teams.
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community.
• Collaborate with digital product managers, UX designers, and content strategists to deliver robust, cloud-based digital experiences that drive traffic, engagement, and sales pipeline.
• Utilize programming languages like JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, Type Script and Java, Tailwind CSS, Next.js, open source frameworks, RESTful web services, and work on cross-browser and cross-device development.
• Managing and securing website infrastructures with integrated marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and experiential platforms.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering
• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• At least 4 years of people management experience

• Master’s Degree
• 9+ years of experience in at least one of the following:
  JavaScript, Java, Type Script, SQL, Python, or Go
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
• 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
• 7+ years of people management experience
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Remote (Regardless of Location): $209,000 - $238,500 for Sr. Mgr, Software Engineering

Richmond, VA: $209,000 - $238,500 for Sr. Mgr, Software Engineering
