Senior Frontend Developer

Crate and Barrel, a well-established brand known for its high-quality furniture, is searching for a Senior Front End Developer to join their growing eCommerce team. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and implement features using React to improve the online shopping experience for Crate and Barrel and CB2 customers.

• 5+ years of experience building websites using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Strong proficiency in React, and a solid understanding of web development best practices.
• The ability to build responsive, accessible, and performant web applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with Bootstrap, Foundation, CSS preprocessors (LESS or SASS), or CSS Modules/Styled Components.
• Experience with JIRA and the retail industry.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Graphic Design, Visual Communication).

• Design, develop, and implement features for Crate and Barrel’s and CB2’s websites using React.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate progress.
• Work on an Agile team to estimate, develop, test, deploy, and maintain code.
• Participate in technical design meetings and code reviews.
• Optimize website speed/performance and enhance SEO.
