Staff Engineer, Mobile Cross-platform

We are seeking a dedicated mobile engineer to help build the next generation of products and services in digital farming solutions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Managers, and User Experience experts to craft an experience that will impact the face of farming.
Engage with your team to provide technical designs and estimates for solutions to deliver the outcomes on the roadmap.
Guide the architecture of the application, working with all the engineering teams involved in the business unit.
Work with an inclusive team of engineers committed to continuous improvement and quality.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Be a key part of defining and implementing standards and best practices for all mobile teams.

Qualifications

Required:

8+ years of software development experience
2+ years of experience building mobile applications with a cross‑platform tool (Kotlin Multiplatform or React Native)
Experience developing apps for iOS and Android platforms (Swift and Kotlin)
Deep knowledge of architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC)
Experience with releasing applications in the app stores
Experience with git or other distributed version control systems
Experience with testing and automation tools
Good communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience

Preferred:

Experience with C++
Experience with integrating with Graph

QL APIs
Experience with leading without authority
Knowledge of secure mobile development principles
Experience working with Product and Design to ship ground‑breaking features
Champion of mobile standards, accessibility

Compensation and Benefits

Employees can expect a salary of approximately $130k–$180k, plus potential bonus or incentive programs. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, and other standard benefits.
