Lead Software Developer

Overview

Lead software development efforts by overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of scalable code, prototypes, and Proof of Concepts (PoC);
Architect strategic technical solutions by proactively identifying areas for architectural improvement and presenting proposals to senior leadership;
Drive project implementation and delivery for complex, long-term initiatives, defining scope, requirements, and ensuring timely rollout;
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and mentor, providing technical guidance and mentorship to developers and advising managers on team improvement;
Conduct quality assurance through comprehensive testing and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and high standards;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to improve product features and resolve technical issues; and Maintain expert knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices, presenting findings to senior leadership for consideration.

• Experience with C# and SQL.
• Experience with Google Compute Engine.
• Experience with Postgres Spanner and Google Big Query.
• Experience with Git Version Control.
• Experience with Object-oriented programming, scalable application development, system design and architecture, testing, and code reviews.
• Experience with Project leadership, team direction, mentoring developers and interns.
• Experience presenting technical discussions.
• Experience working with development teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
• Experience researching and solving open-ended design problems.
• Experience defining strategic direction, planning roadmaps, synthesizing feedback and managing projects to completion.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and at least five years of experience as a Software Developer or related occupation.

• Hybrid option to work from home is available.
• Salary: $152,131 – $194,200/year.
