Android developer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team in Atlanta. As an Android Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and implementing innovative mobile solutions as well as a strong understanding of the latest technologies and trends in mobile development.

• Design and develop user-friendly, robust, and scalable Android applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality code is delivered
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions to technical problems
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• Proven work experience as an Android Developer or similar role
• Experience with Java and Kotlin programming languages
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
• Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
• Solid knowledge of the full mobile development life cycle

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or Mockito
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for mobile devices

• Salary: $1100 per month, negotiable based on experience
