Overview

Pay and SchedulePay: $27.82 / hour
Schedule:
Monday – Friday (Saturdays as needed)
Start Time: 7:00 a.m. until workload completed

Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule regular maintenance and repairs for all fleet vehicles.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely, quality, and cost‑effective maintenance services.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including costs and timelines.
- Ensure all fleet vehicles comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Audit and process payment of invoices for fleet services.
- Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, seeking cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Respond to and manage emergency repair situations to minimize downtime.
- Generate and present regular reports on fleet maintenance status and performance metrics.
- Leverage telematics, TMS, and fleet maintenance software to coordinate and record activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in diesel maintenance is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and repair procedures, familiarity with diagnostic tools and software. Experience with Class 8 tractors, tankers, and dry‑van trailers preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Collaborative work style with drivers, mechanics, and other team members.
