About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician II
, you will be accountable for maintaining bakery equipment and facility systems in a safe, reliable, and operational condition to support daily production requirements. This role is critical to minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $32.00 - $38.00

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and control system issues.
  • Support production operations by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and verifying equipment performance following repairs.
  • Execute equipment overhauls, installations, and maintenance activities in alignment with production schedules.
  • Operate maintenance tools, machinery, lifts, and material‑handling equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and work orders within the CMMS system.
  • Promote compliance with food safety, GMP, quality, and workplace safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
  • High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment; OR 5 years of related industrial maintenance experience in lieu of education.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in at least two of the following areas: refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, or food manufacturing process controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and controls documentation, including P&IDs, single‑line drawings, loop drawings, and equipment layouts.
  • Knowledge of equipment setup, operation, functionality, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, email applications, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
