About the Role

As an Industrial Injection Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for maximizing production uptime through proactive diagnostics and precision repairs. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing the performance of high-speed injection molding and auxiliary systems to ensure seamless facility operations.

Responsibilities
  • Execute complex troubleshooting and repairs on injection molders, blow molders, fillers, and high-speed packaging machinery.
  • Maintain and optimize facility infrastructure, including chillers, air compressors, and advanced water filtration systems.
  • Utilize technical schematics to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions for recurring equipment performance issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and precision adjustments to ensure equipment operates within peak efficiency parameters.
  • Document all maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders to maintain accurate service records.
  • Support plant safety initiatives by adhering to rigorous machine operation and lockout/tagout protocols.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members to elevate overall site maintenance capabilities.
Required Skills
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Demonstrated expertise with precision measuring tools such as calipers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with experience in 480

    VAC and 24

    VDC electrical systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolution strategies to diverse stakeholders.
  • Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
Preferred Skills
  • 6+ years of experience in high-speed bottling, plastics, or beverage packaging industries.
  • Advanced knowledge of VFDs, servo drives, PLC I/O systems, and industrial communication buses.
  • Proven capability in fabrication, including welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) and machining.
  • Experience with specialized equipment such as Husky, Krones, or Sidel systems.
  • Strong background in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and plastics processing technology.
  • Previous experience leading technical projects or mentoring junior maintenance staff.
