Ideal candidates should display the following requirements and work habits:
- Provide adequate transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Possess the ability to work outdoors in a changing environment.
- Must have the ability to work any days of the week, a set 40-hour schedule.
- Team player – Enjoys working with others and in a public setting.
- Self-starter – able to work with minimal supervision and identify/workplace needs.
- Communication – able to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Represents Gulf Corp Services professionally in interactions with employees, owners, guests, and community members.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums floors using cleaning solutions and equipment.
- Cleans walls, ceilings, windows, walkways, stairwells, elevator cars, equipment, and building fixtures.
- Gathers and empties trash from building floors, parking lots, and parking garages.
- Sets up, arranges, and removes decorations, tables, and chairs in meeting rooms.
- Cleans pool deck areas including pool furniture.
- Picks up trash from landscaped areas, parking lots/decks, and common areas.
- Maintains trash compactor room and rotates dumpsters as needed.
- Reports safety hazards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean walls, ceilings, windows, walkways, stairwells, elevator cars, equipment, and fixtures.
- Maintain cleanliness of pool deck areas and related facilities.
- Manage trash collection and disposal for interior and exterior areas.
- Set up and break down furniture and decorations for meetings and events.
- Identify safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work any day of the week with a 40-hour schedule.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Professional conduct and courteous interaction with staff, guests, and community members.
