Environmental Services EVS Worker

Aramark is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services (EVS) Worker to join our team, providing critical support in maintaining the environmental and infection control standards within all assigned areas. This role is pivotal in ensuring clean, sanitary, and attractive conditions for our clients across various industries including healthcare, education, and business facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, surgical areas, administrative offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas and public restrooms, as well as launder all hospital linens.
• Use various cleaning chemicals and disinfectants, housekeeping supplies and equipment to maintain a clean and professional environment.
• Properly dispose of waste and bio-hazardous materials following safety protocols.
• Participate in infection control, departmental equipment training, and all cleaning protocols.
• Report any damages, maintenance problems or safety hazards to the appropriate management team.
• Work with other departments within the facility to improve quality and performance in providing environments that meet infection control and environmental services standards.

Required Skills

• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently
