Plant Engineer I - Shady Cove School

Eagle Point School District 9 (EPSD9) seeks a reliable and dedicated Plant Engineer I to join the facilities team at Shady Cove School. The engineer will maintain a clean, safe, and efficient school environment that supports teaching, learning, and daily operations.

• Perform daily building maintenance and custodial duties.
• Operate equipment, prepare the building for daily use, and assist school staff as needed.
• Maintain inventory and prepare for school events.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to waste, chemicals, and building systems.
• Support extracurricular activities and uphold the district's mission and policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in building and grounds maintenance, preferably in a school setting.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and custodial operations.
• Valid Oregon Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to read instructions.
• Physical stamina: stooping, bending, climbing ladders, lifting and carrying.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
