Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance Technician II will help keep the buildings and grounds in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. The position will ensure buildings remain in good repair by performing minor and routine maintenance activities such as painting, plumbing, janitorial duties, appliance upkeep, and other related tasks.
Education and Experience:
3-5 years related experience and/or equivalent combination of experience in a trade such as electrical, plumbing and painting or technical school. Associate degree (A.
A.) preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
Valid Driver’s License and insurance is required.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 40% of the time.

Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Multiplication
Skills:
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to problem‑solve, and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; stand frequently, sit occasionally. Must regularly lift or move 50-75 pounds and occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds. Ability to use a hand truck to move appliances. Vision: close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus.
Tool Requirement:
Cascade requires that in this Maintenance position, employees supply their own tools to perform maintenance work at work sites. A list of required tools must be obtainable within 60 days of employment.
