Janitorial and Sawmill Cleanup (Swing Shift 2:00PM-10:30PM

Description Position Summary

The Janitorial and Sawmill Cleanup performs yard care, cleans the offices and breakrooms, and assists with sawmill and planer clean-up.

• Comply with safety standards at all times and correct/report any observed safety hazards.
• Clean offices and breakrooms including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disposing of trash, and scrubbing restrooms.
• Clean food preparation areas including appliances such as microwaves, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Clean glass surfaces and mirrors.
• Perform quarterly deep cleaning including interior windows, oiling the wood paneling, and shampooing carpets and rugs. Clean exterior windows bi-annually in the spring and fall.
• Maintain the upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
• Ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job.
• Operate lawn care equipment such as a lawn mower, weed eater, and brush hog.
• Assist with planer and sawmill clean up as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as required by supervisor.
• On-site attendance is essential to effectively perform the listed duties and responsibilities.

Must meet position requirements to be considered a candidate for this position.

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Previous janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to operate lawn care equipment.
• Ability to follow all company, state and federal safety rules when performing required job duties.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history check and a pre-employment drug screening.

May be exposed to dust, noise, trip hazards, and extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
