Maintenance Coordinator

Selmet is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support our precision aerospace manufacturing facility in Springfield, OR. In this role, you will coordinate and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for production equipment, facilities, and support systems to ensure maximum uptime and safety. You will manage work orders, prioritize tasks, and track completion in a CMMS. The Maintenance Coordinator will collaborate closely with maintenance technicians, production, and engineering to plan repairs, arrange contractors, order parts, and maintain critical spare inventories.

You will help drive continuous improvement by monitoring equipment performance, documenting procedures, and supporting safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Create, assign, and track work orders in a CMMS system
• Prioritize maintenance requests to minimize production downtime
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians, production, and engineering on repair plans
• Arrange and oversee outside contractors and service providers
• Maintain parts and critical spare inventory and initiate purchase requests
• Monitor equipment performance and maintenance history for trends
• Support safety, environmental, and quality compliance in maintenance work
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes and reliability
