Summary

The Director of Facilities & Maintenance oversees the operation, maintenance, and long-term care of all Black Butte Ranch buildings, grounds, and infrastructure. This role leads a team to ensure facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained while supporting guest satisfaction and asset preservation. The Director also manages capital projects, budgets, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of facilities and maintenance teams
  • Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs
  • Plan and execute capital improvement projects
  • Manage departmental budgets and forecast long-term needs
  • Ensure all systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural) operate safely and efficiently
  • Oversee construction, renovation, and repair projects
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, building codes, and environmental regulations
  • Manage vendor relationships and service contracts
  • Lead, train, and develop team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of facilities management experience, ideally in hospitality or resort operations
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance operations
  • Experience with capital planning and project management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
