Commercial Cleaner

Commercial Cleaner - Full or Part Time - 1st or 2nd Shift

• Utilize the customer’s site specific scope to perform all tasks to the quality standards of Oso Clean. Common tasks may include:
  • Garbage collection and removal
  • Dusting high and low surfaces, and horizontal surfaces within reach
  • Full cleaning and spot cleaning walls, light switches and doors
  • Cleaning and disinfecting fixtures and surfaces in restrooms and kitchens
  • Replenishing consumable supplies in restrooms and kitchens
  • Vacuuming upholstered furniture, carpets and walk off mats
  • Sweeping and dust mopping hard surface floors
  • Damp mop and wet mopping hard surface floors
• Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to the client / Oso Clean supervisor in the specified manner
• Arrive to work at the scheduled time, perform services to established standards and ensure the facility is locked and secured when you finish and leave
• Handle special requests from customers as appropriate and note handling to Oso Clean supervisor
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented - pays attention to details at each job location including monthly tasks
• Friendly and professional - able to deal with customers when they are present while work is being performed
• Team player - ability to work within a team where members depend on each other to get the job done
• Self starter - able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so
• Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities
• Reasoning ability. Good common sense with the ability to solve practical problems

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
• Experience in a service environment is preferred, but not required

• Value open and honest communication with team members and management
• Ability to speak and write English fluently and relay information between the team, customers, and office staff

• Physical demands include walking and standing, climbing, bending, kneeling to clean floors by hand if needed, push and pull large objects, lift and move objects (up to 35 lbs), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm motions
• Travel to / from job location(s) is required
• Uniforms, as provided by Oso Clean, must be worn during work hours
