This position will play a key role in establishing standardized maintenance and sanitation processes.
What You’ll DoAs our Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for daily building maintenance, preventative upkeep, and facilities improvements across our campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement standardized processes for facility maintenance, sanitation, and improvements
Perform general maintenance including carpentry, basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and repairs
Paint, remodel, refurbish, and maintain interior and exterior spaces
Monitor, repair, and maintain equipment, fixtures, and building systems
Change HVAC filters, light bulbs, and perform routine inspections
Prepare classrooms, meeting spaces, and event areas (furniture setup and breakdown)
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, offices, hallways, and conference rooms
Oversee trash removal, recycling, floor care, window cleaning, and exterior entryways
Maintain exterior property, including snow removal and grounds upkeep
Coordinate with Maintenance, HR, Operations, and other departments to deliver excellent service
Provide on‑call facilities support as needed (24/7 coverage rotation)
Supervise and support additional team members as assigned (2 Janitorial Staff)
Perform other related duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent5+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance (1 area of expertise required multiple desirable)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated
Preferred Skills (a plus):
Experience leading or supervising staff
Experience creating processes or standard systems
Familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing environments
Physical & Work Requirements Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, walking, and standing
Ability to work in extreme temperatures and high‑noise environments
Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals, paints, lubricants, and solvents
Use of hearing protection and other PPE as required
