Overview
Looking for a worker to assist in normal farm operations. This includes routine maintenance, planting, tillage, haying, silage chopping, mowing, irrigating, and maintaining irrigation equipment. Workers should have experience in irrigation systems, heavy equipment operation, farm equipment operation, and heavy truck operation (CDL). This requires basic knowledge of computer systems. This is an hourly position beginning the first part of May through October and will require the worker to be available days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Estimated start date is May 1, 2026.
Routine maintenance, planting, tillage, haying, silage chopping, mowing, irrigating, and maintaining irrigation equipment.
Minimum Qualifications- 2 years’ experience in agriculture work
- 2 years’ experience operating construction and/or farm equipment
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on trucks, tractors, implements, and other equipment
- Must be willing to work a versatile schedule, primarily during, but not limited to, normal business hours
- This position requires someone who is not afraid to get dirty, is willing to work when needed, and is not hard on equipment
- We also require a team player who has excellent people skills and understands how to work with Managers, Researchers and Professors with different ideas and personalities
- Basic knowledge of computer systems
- Class A CDL with driving experience
- GPS Auto Guidance Experience
- Self‑motivated

ADAThis position requires considerable physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position, including heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs.), standing for long periods, and/or pushing and pulling of heavy objects. Employees must be prepared to assume uncomfortable positions, such as crawling, kneeling, and squatting. Employees work outside and will not be protected from weather conditions, including extreme cold and extreme heat for extended periods.
The job requires getting dirty, hard work, and operating farm and irrigation equipment. Employees are exposed to hazardous conditions including noise, vibrations from machinery, moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, and atmospheric conditions that can affect the respiratory system, such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, and poor ventilation.
