Tax Accountant

Tax Staff Accountant | Orland Park, IL | Hybrid

Our client is a well-established, 12-person CPA firm with outstanding employee tenure and a collaborative culture. They're seeking a Tax Staff Accountant with approximately 2–3 years of public accounting tax experience
.

• Prepare individual (1040), partnership (1065), S Corporation (1120S), and C Corporation (1120) tax returns.

• Work directly with clients and become a trusted advisor.

• Assist with bookkeeping, Quick Books, and financial reporting for a variety of small business clients.

• Gain exposure to tax planning and a broad range of industries.

• 2–3 years of public accounting tax experience.

• Strong 1040 preparation experience is required.

• Experience preparing 1065, 1120, and 1120S tax returns.

• Experience with Quick Books and Lacerte is preferred.

• CCH Axcess experience is a plus, but not required.

• CPA candidate or CPA track is a plus.

• Hybrid schedule (4 days in the office, 1 day remote).

• Reasonable busy-season hours and a strong commitment to work-life balance.

• Stable 12-person CPA firm with outstanding employee tenure.

• Broad exposure to individuals, partnerships, corporations, and small business clients.

• Direct client interaction and long-term career growth.

• 100% employer-paid individual health insurance premium.

• Base salary up to approximately $80,000, plus a 5% annual performance bonus
