Role Overview
The Administrative Coordinator provides essential administrative support to firm service lines, ensuring high-quality client deliverables, efficient workflows, and reliable communication. This role manages tasks with minimal supervision and proactively identifies potential issues to support continuous improvement. The position is based in the Orland Park, IL office.
Responsibilities- Support firm service line offerings (e.g., Tax General Support, workpaper scanning, tax return assembly) and assist with software platforms such as Go File Room , Smartsheet, and Microsoft Suite.
- Perform general administrative duties including inbox management, file repository maintenance, Teams channel coordination, and general assistance.
- Carry out on‑site operational support such as front desk duties, mail and supply management, breakroom and kitchen responsibilities, and visitor and staff assistance.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a professional support services environment (accounting preferred but not required).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, with advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with Adobe is preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage workload effectively, meet deadlines, and uphold quality standards.
- Strong aptitude for quickly learning and utilizing new technology and systems.
- Collaborative and solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Skilled in building trust and rapport with team members and internal clients while managing expectations through clear, timely, and professional communication.
- Ability to proactively communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to leadership.

$18.00 – $26.00 per hour.
