Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commercial Construction Superintendent based in Orland Park, IL. The Commercial Construction Superintendent will oversee the daily operations of construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are upheld and work progresses according to plan. Responsibilities will include managing schedules, coordinating staff and subcontractors, monitoring project timelines and budgets, and ensuring quality control. Collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve challenges and meet project objectives is a critical part of the role.

  • Proficiency in Construction Site Management and Construction Safety
  • Strong skills in Project Management and Budgeting
  • Exceptional Organization Skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial
  • Prior experience in commercial construction or similar roles
