Key Qualifications &

Experience:
  • Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Experience providing psychological services in school settings, preferably with grades 3 through 8
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to creating equitable, positive learning environments for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct formal and informal assessments to evaluate students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and monitor effective interventions
  • Assist with eligibility determination for special education services
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed

    Participate in student support team meetings and contribute expertise on psychological and behavioral matters
  • Support the creation and implementation of data-driven behavior management plans
  • Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with all applicable laws and standards
