Key ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking a Part‑Time Dance Instructor to teach youth dance classes to enrollees from age 3 to 18. The ideal candidate must be positive, high energy, upbeat, enjoy dance and love working with children/young adults of all ages.
This position is responsible for checking the facility and equipment before each class begins, taking attendance and developing motor skills, fundamental coordination and body awareness through song and dance.
Attending quarterly staff meetings is also important to this role.
Qualifications, Knowledge, SkillsA High School Diploma is preferred. Two years of previous experience in dance is required. Prior experience performing with a professional dance company is a plus.
This position is scheduled approximately 15 hours per week. Days/hours are based on programming schedule and may be asked to sub if necessary.
Compensation & BenefitsHourly pay rate is $28.46 - $37.95, depending on experience and qualifications.
Anticipated starting salary is $28.46 per hour.
