Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Job Description

Our client, a mid-market education products leader, is seeking an interim FP&A, Finance Manager Analytics consultant. This unique position will offer a blend of general business analysis, forecasting/modeling, data analysis, and reporting. This position will be responsible for statistical analysis of trends and business reporting to upper management to support decision strategies. They are looking for someone who can build and optimize reporting within Net Suite.

This is a contract/consulting role with future potential for hire.

• Partner with company leaders and executives to develop solutions and drive results
• Provide business intelligence and performance analysis
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and financial modeling support to the corporate function and business leaders
• Evaluate financial outcomes of various decision alternatives; advise on key business planning assumptions, identify, and quantify risks and/or opportunities
• Research, collect, and perform analysis of data and information for special projects
• Optimize reporting processes and structures within Net Suite
• Define data requirements and workflow processes
• Communicate regularly with IT, Finance, and Operations teams

• B.A. degree in Finance, Economics, Technology, or Business
• 7-10 years of progressive FP&A or Financial Analysis experience
• Advanced experience with Access, Excel, and SQL
• Experience working within Net Suite (Planning & Budgeting, Financial Reporting) required!
• Experience with BI Tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
