Position SummaryAs a Caregiver, you will deliver compassionate personal care and homemaking services in accordance with each client’s individualized Plan of Care. Working under the guidance of the Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in promoting safety, comfort, and overall well‑being. This is more than a job — it’s a chance to positively impact lives every single day.
Education Requirements- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- At least one (1) year of experience in home care, long‑term care, or a similar healthcare setting
- A compassionate, dependable, and patient‑centered mindset
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Perform light housekeeping (bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas)
- Assist with laundry, dishes, and general tidying
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and organized living space
- Assist with hygiene, grooming, dressing, shaving, and transfers
- Support mobility, ambulation, and prescribed exercise routines
- Help with eating and other daily living activities
- Prepare and serve balanced meals
- Assist with feeding when needed
- Ensure dietary needs are followed according to the care plan
- Observe and report changes in physical or emotional condition
- Document personal care activities, vital signs, and intake/output as required
- Communicate important updates to the Staffing Coordinator
- Assist with walkers, wheelchairs, and hoyer lifts
- Encourage participation in range‑of‑motion and prescribed exercises
- Support family members in safe caregiving practices
- Assist with self‑administered medications
- Retrieve medications, read labels, and support proper intake
- Document medication assistance and ensure proper storage
- Follow CDC hand hygiene and infection control guidelines
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and training standards
- Flexible shifts available 24/7 based on client needs and your availability
- Hours vary by assignment
