This role sets up, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs progressive and single hit stamping dies used in high-volume production. It's a hands‑on, highly skilled position for someone who can diagnose complex tooling issues, perform precision repairs, and keep production running at full speed.

• Perform die changeovers and press setups, ensuring proper alignment, shut height, and clearances
• Conduct preventative maintenance and tear‑down inspections to identify wear and potential failures
• Perform precision surface grinding and tool sharpening to restore cutting geometry and tolerances
• Respond quickly to tooling‑related downtime and verify dimensions with precision measuring equipment

• 3+ years' experience with progressive stamping dies, troubleshooting, and precision surface grinding
• Ability to read tooling prints, die layouts, and engineering drawings
• Solid understanding of tool steel behavior, wear patterns, and preventative maintenance practices
• High school diploma or GED

Compensation
:
The expected base pay range for this role is $30 - $40 an hour + a 15% shift differential for evening shift. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
