Join our team as a Toolmaker and bring your expertise to a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment where precision matters. In this role, you'll leverage your experience with CNC machining, EDM equipment, CAD/CAM programming, and precision grinding to create and maintain high-quality tooling that supports critical production operations.

What You Will Do
- Set Up & Operate Equipment: Set up and operate CNC equipment, including EDM die sink, wire EDM, milling, turning, polishing, and high-precision grinding machines using CAD/CAM-generated programming.
- Program & Execute Tooling: Program, load, verify, and execute tooling programs to produce components within tight tolerances and exact specifications.
- Perform Precision Machining: Machine and finish complex components with significant value added through previous manufacturing processes.
- Inspect & Document Quality: Conduct in-process inspections, document results, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor & Maintain Tooling: Monitor tooling performance during production runs and perform necessary adjustments or maintenance.
- Support Production Operations: Maintain and support production tooling to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas and participate in initiatives that enhance quality, safety, and productivity.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to work toward a machining certificate in accordance with procedure C1-0845 (formerly H1-1709) and achieve PI Bronze certification within six months of hire.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment, EDM machines, grinders, and jig grinders.
- Technical Expertise: Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, procedures, work instructions, and CAD/CAM data. Experience with grinding fixtures, CNC profile grinders, jig grinders, and grinding machine controllers.
- Core Competencies: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, adapt to changing business needs, and collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and toolroom teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods, up to eight hours per day.
