School Registered Nurse | Orland Park, Illinois

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential preferred or in progress
• Experience in a school or pediatric nursing setting strongly desired
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized care for students
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, first aid, and emergency interventions to students and staff
• Manage chronic health conditions and administer medications as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for students
• Collaborate with educational staff, families, and physicians as needed to support student health
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Monitor and address communicable disease outbreaks in accordance with public health guidelines
