About the Role
As a Store Manager, you are responsible for the total holistic omni customer experience in your store, ensuring high visual and commercial curation and standards according to the store format location and global and regional strategies. You lead the full store team to excel and create an inclusive culture that promotes collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit. You are responsible and aware of the store's strengths, opportunities, and competitors, and you analyze and follow up on sales, creating plans to optimize results and profits.

Customer Sales & Profit- Responsible for the total omni customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to your store format environment, global guidelines and regional strategies
- Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions
- Establish, analyze, and follow up on sales and budget goals, and create plans to optimize results
- Ensure personal customer service is provided in all areas of the store, guiding customers through fashion stories and working toward actively selling products
- Promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives
- Schedule to budgeted hours in line with sales budget and commercial activities
- Ensure correct routines in fitting rooms and at checkout, including transactions, returns and exchanges
- Be aware of store strengths and opportunities, identify commercial opportunities and act on them; maintain competitor awareness and knowledge
- Manage store maintenance in a cost-efficient way
- Ensure all admin routines for both people and operations are handled correctly
- Keep up to date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers
- Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions
- Understand the local area of your store, customers, competition, and fashion trends
- Responsible for talent and performance management in your store, including recruiting, onboarding, upskilling, and developing your team
- Complete performance evaluations and succession planning to support business needs and the team
- Retain and share knowledge and skills with your team
- Collaborate with Area team and store leadership team including VMs
- Ensure excellent communication and professionalism
- Responsible for team planning and scheduling
- Regular communication to store colleagues to inform, motivate and inspire through daily/weekly meetings
- Ensure all procedures, routines, security, and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed
- Participate in onboarding and introduction processes, trainings and courses relevant for your role and development
- Ensure a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house
- Ensure high fashion quality, visual and commercial product presentation, with great garment care
- Maintain good stock levels and provide input on allocation
- Responsible for opening and closing store routines and processes
- Ensure the full garment cycle from delivery to presentation and fitting room routines follow standards and utilize tools
- Maintain in-store OMNI Services and tech tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.)
- Maintain price signs consistently according to global and local guidelines
- Update and maintain BOH areas with key information and safety practices
- Strong leadership with responsibility for others
- Confident in coaching and developing a team; capable of managing numbers and analytics
- Relevant experience in a leadership role applicable to store management
- Retail management and operations experience
- Experience collaborating closely with a team

- Compensation: base salary range is $77,400 - $89,040 annually (varies by location)
