Account Manager - focused Software Sales

We are looking for an Account Executive / Account Manager based in Chicago (U.S. citizens or green card holders only). The role focuses 70% outside sales and 30% inside sales, with no commission cap, requiring a hunter‑type mindset.

• Lead sales efforts to the mid‑market manufacturing sector.
• Build a sales plan to provide integrated software and service solutions to meet prospect and existing customer needs as a strategic business partner.
• Drive all aspects of the sales cycle, including proposals, scoping, pricing and contract negotiations.
• Develop proven metrics and reporting to drive the team to achieve success with current and prospective customers.

• Experience as an account executive with an ERP or MES software firm (must have).
• Large‑scale implementation project sales experience with consulting services firms such as Cognizant, IBM Global Services, Accenture, PwC, EY, etc. is favorable.
• Business‑to‑business sales experience in the manufacturing space, with a track record of prospecting, relationship management and closing complex deals for consulting‑intense software solutions.
• Strong technology skills and familiarity with value‑added processes in manufacturing, including digitization needs and process optimization.
